I was browsing the internet today looking for some resources for teaching American History when I stumbled upon this -
DocsTeach, from the National Archives. It is so cool. (Am I totally nerdy for writing that?!) It is a resource to help teachers use primary documents to teach social studies. What a great way to make history meaningful for students. I can't wait to figure out how to use this resource.
Consider this one "stolen" :) Can't wait to share with my students in SS methods and the new cohort of MAT students next summer. Isn't it just amazing that we can have access to these documents from hundreds of years ago as if we were right there participating in their conception?
